Post Holiday Shopping! Stretch that dollar
Now that the ladies are pleased with their beauty shopping from my last post Bargains Online! let’s take a look at where we can go post hols shopping at really good prices.
For those of us who had a chance to visit Far East Square during the weekend you will notice street vendors hawking really cool stuff from CDs, DVDs, books and collectibles at crazy prices. Some up to 50% off.
I was a happy buyer of 5 new books that cost me half the price i would have paid at Borders or Times. The books were new and were the latest best sellers. Did i also mention you can even bargain!
Another place where you can satisfy that want to shop and give is Popular Bookstore at Bras Basah. Being the largest in Singapore, one can find the most interesting and useful gifts for people you love for weddings, birthdays, baby showers…
Oh and for those proud members of Popular we all enjoy up to 20% off if you ask for a Pop Club discount. And people who own Maybank’s Family and Friends card, you get a further 5% cash rebate.
My total gift count last year was by far the largest at almost 50 but no eating grass for me this month thanks to these great deals.
