Good Day to you all!

To start let me share a little bit about myself. I have spent my entire life submerged in the infinite sea of accounting and finances. My Dad has been quite the inspiration by providing a door into the world of finances, and for that I will be forever grateful! By the time I hit my junior year in high school I was ready to be out in the "real" world, which is when I accelerated my plans to get my education completed sooner rather than later. By the time I hit my senior year I was taking courses at my local community College (kudos to Cecil for having such a program) and proceeded to get a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting and Information Systems, a MBA in Financial Management, and a MBA in Information Technology (all from the phenomenal Goldey-Beacom College). Mind you I accomplished this in 4 years, something I am still unsure of how I had the energy to do.

Mind you it is not all sunshine and daisies. I have met my fair share of life altering experiences, which for the longest time, I let drag me down. Coincidentally, I woke up one day only to realize that most of what has been "prescribed" to us by an overgeneralization of what we "need" to get ahead in life, has been a) inherently incorrect b) non-specific and c) truly doesn't enforce the creativity and desires that most of us have to get out of life and to truly make our world a better place.

Now don't get me wrong, I believe in the prosperity of everyone and I believe that anyone who has the motivation to get something more out of life, can and will. Take for example myself; ever since I was in my teens, I knew deep down inside of me that I am destined for better things. Not only for myself, but for those around me. I want everyone to succeed, I want everyone to get what they want out of life, I believe that our goals are attainable.

Look I am not saying that I have all the answers, but I know that I have the knowledge and brain power to bring a common sense approach to understanding the basics of finances, things that 'they' won't teach you, etc. that I believe is in my best interest to share with the rest of the world, so you one day too can reach whatever goals you may have.

Let's see where this path takes us together!

A recent story really got me thinking. Would you rather pay somebody $25/ week to cut your grass or cut it yourself? (For this example we’ll use my own opinion here, but I hate cutting the grass) Let’
